How To Enhance Your Wedding Decor With White Wooden Folding Chairs

White wooden folding chairs are a common sight at an outdoor wedding in good weather and are even often put to use at indoor weddings that are using a garden theme for decorating.  These chairs are in higher demand than a standard folding chair because they can provide the same flexibility with a lot more comfort and style. 

To use these chairs as part of your wedding decorations, first take care of the practical considerations.  If your guests are going to be seated for a long period of time (for example, if your ceremony is taking place on site where the reception will be), you will want to choose a padded model for optimal comfort.  If your caterer is not providing the chairs but you have to supply them yourself, or if they do this for you but give you a number of options at different price points, try the chairs out to see how many can comfortably fit around your tables.  No matter how good the chair looks, your guests won’t be happy if they are crowded at dinner.

Also, if you are ordering your chairs from a chair rental place you must specify that you want regular folding chairs and not a rocking folding chair.  The latter has become a popular choice for garden and patio furniture but it is not at all appropriate for a sit down dinner, which most weddings include, so make sure you know what you’re getting before you pay for it. 

If you are picking the chairs yourself, remember that a quality wood product will look best in general, but it may also cost more than a plastic model.  If your chairs are unattractive, you may want to cover them with slipcovers or garnish them with flower arrangements.  If you’re decorating your wedding yourself you can do this inexpensively but it requires a bit of work.  On the other hand, a wedding decorator or florist may have more options but they often charge a premium for services like this. 

If money is an issue, then go with a white wooden folding chair in a style that is inherently attractive.  One good example of this is a Chivari chair.  Chivari chairs are the type of chairs that look like they are made out of bamboo, and because of this they add a touch of subtle style to any wedding decor without needing to cover them with slipcovers or add floral garnishes to them.  Keep in mind that Chivari chairs come in all styles and colors so if you are ordering them and want white wooden folding chairs you need to ask for that specifically or you may get chairs that are not white, not wooden, or don’t fold.
